FAQs

Products

What kind of products do you sell?

We sell furniture, decor, rugs, lighting, art, and accessories. Each piece chosen for quality, character, and design.

What is your specialty?

Solid wood case goods are our specialty, dining tables, cabinets, coffee tables, and more. It’s what we do best and what sets us apart.

Do you design your own furniture?

Yes. We design, manufacture, and import our own exclusive case goods using high-quality solid materials and generational hand-crafted construction techniques.

What are case goods?

Case goods are hard-surface furniture pieces like dining tables, cabinets, consoles, coffee tables, and shelving, typically made from wood, metal, or stone.

What are soft goods?

Soft goods include textiles and upholstered items like rugs, pillows, throws, bedding, and sometimes lighting or decor. Items that add comfort, texture, and warmth to a space.

Is your furniture made from solid wood?

Yes. Our case good furniture is made from solid wood, stone, and metal, never veneers, plywoods, or plastics.

Do you design and manufacture all of your products?

We design and manufacture all of our case good products. For soft goods like rugs, pillows, and lighting, we partner with select vendors whose products meet our standards and complement our aesthetic.

Product Types

What’s the difference between vintage, reclaimed, and newly crafted items?

Vintage: Authentic pieces from the past with unique character and signs of age.

Reclaimed: Newly made products from reclaimed materials like old wood or stone.

Newly Crafted: Made new using traditional techniques and high-quality materials.

Will my furniture have natural imperfections?

Yes, and that’s part of what makes it special. Whether vintage, reclaimed, or newly crafted, our pieces are made from natural materials and are handmade, so you can expect beautiful variations in grain, texture, tone, and subtle imperfections that give each piece its own unique character. These aren’t flaws, they’re the marks of authenticity and craftsmanship.

Will my product look exactly like the photo online?

Our product photos show a single piece from our current stock. Unless you’re purchasing a one-of-a-kind vintage item, you’ll likely receive a different piece from inventory, not the exact one pictured. We maintain consistency in style, finish, and overall appearance, but because we use real wood, natural variations in grain, tone, and texture should be expected.

Is everything you sell one-of-a-kind?

Many of our Vintage pieces are truly one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated. Reclaimed items are each slightly unique due to the natural variation in the wood, but we can usually reproduce similar versions. Newly Crafted pieces are part of our ongoing collection and are regularly restocked.

Cleaning & Care

How do I clean my wooden furniture?

Dust regularly with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, a damp cloth or mild household cleaners are recommended. Use coasters to protect surfaces.

Is your wood furniture sealed?

It depends on the piece. High-use items like dining tables and coffee tables are sealed with a durable matte lacquer finish. For lower-use items like shelves or cabinets, a sealer may not be applied unless it enhances the look. Outdoor pieces are always sealed with a weather-resistant finish. We use different sealers and techniques based on each item’s intended use and visual design.

Are the sealers you use safe and environmentally friendly?

Yes. All of our finishes and sealers comply with California’s strict environmental and health standards, the highest in the U.S. We use ultra-low VOC (volatile organic compound) products that are safe for indoor residential use and meet or exceed industry standards for air quality and safety.

Shipping

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes, we offer white-glove delivery across the continental U.S.

How is furniture shipped?

Large pieces ship via 3rd party white glove delivery freight services. Smaller items may ship via UPS or FedEx. We’ll confirm shipping details at checkout.

Do you offer white glove delivery?

Yes, our standard delivery option for large furniture pieces is white glove delivery.

What does white glove delivery include?

White glove delivery includes in-home placement, unpacking, and basic assembly of your furniture, along with removal of all packaging materials. It does not include wall mounting, electrical work, or moving existing furniture.
