Our best-selling case goods are crafted in the heart of Northern China, a region steeped in a centuries-old tradition of furniture-making. For over a decade, we’ve partnered exclusively with a single, small, family-run workshop that blends time-honored techniques such as mortise-and-tenon joinery and hand-planed surfaces with a deep respect for natural materials.

Our workshop specializes in reclaimed woods like Elm, Northern Pine, and Poplar, salvaged from old buildings and developing villages. Each piece tells a story, full of character, texture, and authenticity. Unlike mass-produced imports, our furniture is never machine-made or molded. These are heirloom-quality pieces, made slowly, by hand, using skills passed down through generations.

While the phrase “Made in China” can carry certain assumptions, our pieces proudly defy those expectations, offering exceptional craftsmanship, soulful materials, and a deep sense of place.
